02 / The Problem
Event ticketing across emerging markets was notoriously broken: high gateway failure rates, rampant ticket screenshot fraud at gates, predatory transaction fees, and zero infrastructure for creators and vendors to co-sell and split revenue automatically.
03 / What I Did
Co-founded the venture and architected the complete platform from day one. I took responsibility for the product roadmap, technical architecture, payment gateway integration, gate security protocols, and engineering execution.
04 / How I Thought About It
We could not build another basic ticketing form. Live festivals experience massive traffic spikes where thousands of people buy simultaneously and thousands more arrive at gates in minutes. The system needed offline-capable cryptographic verification and an idempotent double-entry ledger that guaranteed zero financial drift.
05 / What I Built
A multi-tenant ticketing engine with dynamic custom-domain routing, an atomic multi-gateway financial ledger (Monnify, Paystack, ZeroX USDT), dynamic HMAC-SHA256 gate scanners that eliminate screenshot fraud, a peer-to-peer ticket transfer system, and 5 integrated marketplace engines (Co-Sell, Venues, Talent, Vendors, VIP Hospitality).
06 / The Architecture & System
Engineered 17 core business workflows on an asynchronous Laravel 12 & Redis core. Built client-side generative canvas identity (rigitiX Echo™), dynamic tenant routing middleware, and automated regression test suites with 233 passing assertions.
