02 / The Problem
Traditional budgeting apps force people to log every coffee manually and present deceptive bank balances. Having ₦500k in your account doesn't mean you have ₦500k to spend if rent, debt payments, and bills are due next week.
03 / What I Did
Conceived, designed, and built the platform. I developed the mathematical Safe-To-Spend algorithmic engine, dynamic debt acceleration logic, conversational AI CFO interface, and end-to-end application architecture.
04 / How I Thought About It
Personal finance is behavioral psychology first and mathematics second. Instead of bombarding users with 50 complex charts, OMEAKU gives them one clear, unambiguous number: their real daily liquidity after protecting upcoming commitments.
05 / What I Built
The Safe-To-Spend calculation engine, automated debt-free velocity tracking, multi-account net worth aggregation, conversational voice and text AI financial advisor, and a responsive glassmorphic command center.
06 / The Architecture & System
Built with a high-throughput Laravel 12 backend paired with a Python/FastAPI AI reasoning service, Redis caching, encrypted ledgers, and a reactive frontend with real-time cashflow alerts.
